Well I was looking through the nib files of iTunes and found this under the iPod prefrences. Its a windows that is basically a iPod updater for a phone, including what format it is, serial number, and sw version. Also, it has the enable disk use box which is just like the iPod. Correct me if Im wrong but iTunes enabled phones cant be mounted and arent using Apple's s/n, software, and most importantly, doesnt have a format! This would go hand and hand with the installer that installs mobile phone drivers.

You're wrong. All itunes phones have that. I have a v3i with itunes and when i connect it to my mac all those are filled up.
