iPod Photo's Click wheel not responding

I just got a 30GB iPod Photo, and I've noticed that the controls will sometimes not respond. The hold switch is off, but the controls work intermittently. I think it may be a software glitch because I always get a response from the controls when I want to reset the iPod, but not in normal operation. I'm trying a full restore, but does anyone else have any suggestions?
 
Well, Nevermind. I just went to Best Buy and exchanged it for a new one. I think I set a record. I was in and out with a new iPod in literally 7 minutes.
