First of all I am new to mac. I am going to get a mac laptop(not for sure which one yet). I have heard several people mention that apple does promo that gives a discount for buying a computer and an iPod at the same time. When does this usually begin. I will be ready to buy in early May, but I can wait.

Typically this is in the fall geared towards students returning to school. It also means you should be a qualified individual for the educational discount/store.

Usually called the "Cram & Jam" promo, it usually starts in late June or early July. It's usually $200 off of an iPod for students when purchased with a computer through their educational store.
