iPod iPod question

I got the newest iPOD(30 gb) for Christmas, and for some reason I have two lists by the same name in there. They are the same lists, I just have a copy. I don't know what I did to get that, but how do I delete one of the lists? How come some of my Rolling Stones songs have an album cover picture, but others don't? To add songs, do I just connect my iPOD to my computer and update it?
Hold button, what is it? Might be a dumb question, but like I said I just got this, and I have not had one before, so yes I am very much a newbie.

Erm........the only one I can help you with is the HOLD button.

If it's like the mini, you flick it when you put your pod in your pocket so you can't accidently hit any of the buttons. It's just a lock, basically....

i can help with the question about the album pictures
is the music downloaded off a third party site like limewire
usually those songs dont have album pics on them
cds and itunes have album pics with them
hope this can be of some help

any ways the ipod is not for looking at the screen any ways it for the music!!
