I am having an issue with playing Audiobooks on my iPod. My wife has a Harry Potter Audiobook on CD that I ripped to my Mac. Using "Join Together" I made 3 .m4b files that are roughly 9 hours in length. While my wife and I were on vacation we were listening to the book. After long stops (a night at a hotel, sight seeing, ect..) we would start up the iPod again. After about a minute the iPod would just stop playing and go back to the main menu and act as if it had never played the file. It's set to remember its place, but when we would start the file up again, it was back at the beginning. Anyone know why this is doing this?
