ipod screen keep freezing help please

HI i jail broke my ipod touch 8gb with ziphone 2.6 think it was summit along them lines
did it all with no problems
but whenever i go to type something now it just freezes up
ive tryed restoring it but it still does it
can any1 help me fix this problem
it would be a MASSIVE help

I just found this fix on another forum I hope it will help

restore to 1.1.4 in iTunes, set up as a new iPod give it a new name re-jailbreak and it should work
