So, when i set my 64GB 4th gen iPod touch (in a white incase hard case) on top of my April 2010 15" macbook pro in a certain place, it causes the computer to go to sleep. In particular, if I set it glass side up, with the bottom edge of the ipod (near the home button) flush with the left side of the computer, and the left edge of the ipod (in this position, the edge nearest the computer screen) lined up with the top of the fn,control, option keys, this is when it causes my computer to go into sleep.

Does this happen for anybody else?

Yeah, I figured out this much. I just didn't think there were any in the ipod touch (until it became obvious that there were some, causing the computer to sleep), and when i searched for the effect on google, nothing came up.

oh, wait.... ipod built-in speaker? but isn't that piezo electric?
