Hello I am still sitting on if I should get the shuffle. In my iTunes library I have 2 videos. If I get the shuffle do I just unclick the "checkbox" or do I permantly I have to delete them, I hope not! Or is the shuffle "smarter" so it doesn't update videos. I know this is just a minor question but I greatly need it. Thanks, macluver101

I am not sure the iPod shuffle can automatically update since most people have more than 1 gig of music. You simply connect it and manually drag songs over or click "Autofill" which randomly grabs 1gig of songs from any playlist or your entire music library. It plays nicely with video.

When you plug in your shuffle, it'll show up (along with some other options) as a button in the bottom portion of the main iTunes window.

Edit: Here's mine as an example.
