Hi, I just bought myself a new orange ipod shuffle, which incidentally I love, but I found to my curiosity that I cannot copy much of my music from my itunes library onto it as it is in Apple Lossless format. Why is this, and why would Apple make an ipod that cannot play its own music format?

Thanks all

Lossless files take up too much space for the Shuffle. Go to iPod Preferences and select "Convert Higher Bit Rate Songs to 128 kbps AAC". Best wishes.
