I love this shuffle thingy... but what about sound check? Obviously there's no way to set it without a screen etc. on the pod itself, but even when I have sound check set in iTunes, my volumes are all over the place on the shuffle, during playback.

Anybody else got this issue? Fixable?

Shuffle doesn't support equalizer settings, Volume settings (SoundCheck) or start/stop times created in iTunes.

Oh well. Can't have the world.
 
you can always try to re-encode the songs and change the volume fix. i used a program once to do this I don't know if this is a standard encoder job. pretty much have to do it manually.

not really the most elegant solution.
