iPod Shuffle + Washing Machine = Alex Laughing it off

Just as an FYI to folks who might be interested in the Shuffle.

I accidentally washed it in a washing machine, extended cycle no less, then dryed it high heat in the dryer, before I discovered my mistake.

I figured it was toast, but I just set it aside and ignored it for a few days, plugged it into iTunes and it synced and charged perfectly, then plugged in the headphones and it was all good to go.

So, perhaps these are more washing machine resistant than folks feared.

Sorry, should have mentioned. This was the most recent, 'controls on headphones' shuffle.
