iPod iPod Shuffle Won't Play

I don't know if this is the right place for this threa, but I am becoming desperate. I plugged my Shuffle in, iTunes says the songs are on the shuffle, the battery is fully charged, but when I plug my head phones in no sounds comes out. I've tried putting the volume up, pressing play and pause, but nothing will happen. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Silly question, but have you tried a different pair of headphones?

also the iPod shuffle has a sorta lock. if you hold down the
play/pause button for 3 seconds it will lock or unlock the iPod shuffle.

I say 3 seconds, hold it down untill the light flashes, orange for lock , green for unlock

I tried new headphones and I tried to "unlock" the shuffle. Still no good =(

When my 1GB Shuffle did that a couple months ago, it was the switch that was bad, and Apple replaced the Shuffle. Every Shuffle on the planet is under warranty (since it was announced less than a year ago) so you can get it replaced.
