I've brought a refurb 30gb ipod from the apple store and it doesn't have the slip case included with it. Does anyone know if there is anyway of getting one from anywhere (the original one that is)

What isa a slip case? Is that the little material pouch that comes with iPods? I got one with my refurb 60. May you should call Applecare and they will send you one.
