ipod stuck on white screen

I was using my iPod Touch (3rd gen and 32gb) and the screen just randomly became white. Although the touch sensors still work because when I'm at the lock screen and I slide the unlock button I hear the noise of it unlocking and the screen becomes less bright. I already tried restoring it. What else can I do to fix it?

Edit: If I try to take screenshots they show up on my computer.
