Hi I'm new to this forum, I have a Video Ipod 30GB and for a while now every time i connect it to my imac it comes up saying "The Ipod Cannot be synced. An Unknown error occurred (-50)" But normally my ipod would update and there would be no problems so i kinda ignored this error.
But i just rebooted my imac which means i am gonna lose all my songs as i did not back them up but i tried to transfer my purchased songs to my itunes and the same error comes up but does not transfer the songs!
Is there anyway i can sort this? And also if i just erase and sync my ipod instead does that mean i lose my purchased songs (dunno wanna try it just incase!).
Hope someone can give me advice.
