Hi!

Last week I attempted to install Snow Leopard and encountered many a problem (long story), and ended up just reinstalling Leopard. This has caused less problems, but some of them are still persisting.

Problem 1 - iTunes/iPod

When I plug my iPod in, it syncs (all 160GB of my music, which takes hours) but then when I take my iPod out, it says that there is No Music. But the space is still taken up.. when I plug it back in, it says that it's filled with "Other", not with "Audio".

I've restored and formatted the iPod numerous times and the problem still persists.

I'm running Mac OS X 10.5.8, iTunes 9.0.3, and using a 160GB iPod Classic.

In the iTunes iPod options 'I have Open iTunes when iPod is attached' selected and the remainder deselected.

Problem 2 - iPhoto

When I backed up my iMac when I was doing all that installing, I copied my iPhoto library file to an external harddrive. Now that I've reinstalled exactly the same version of iPhoto again (7.1.5), it says that my Library was created in a new version of iPhoto and it can't read it. No matter what I try it won't work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: Sorry! I realized half of this should be in the iPod forum...
