Okay so last night I randomly turn my iPod Touch on and what happened is that there's a known bug in 3.0 that whenever somebody boots up their iphone or iPod Touch, there will be a black screen for a second which will then take you to the lock screen. What happened with my iPod Touch is that the black screen won't go away! iTunes recognizes my iPod Touch, but the black screen won't go away! I don't want to restore because I have a lot of stuff on their that I can't lose! Somebody please help me with this! Thanks! Oh, and another thing. When the black screen is there, after a while the wheel starts spinning and the apple logo comes back, but the screen just turns black all over again. So many bugs with 3.0 it makes 2.0 look revolutionary!

I got the black screen during install of 3.0. Applecare had me restore the 3.0 software as a "New iPod". It worked, but may not be of use to you if you have not backed up.

I have yet to even turn off my iPod since getting the update.... So I dunno what the issue really is....
