my girlfriends ipod touch 1g had never seen any software updates ever since she got it until a couple weeks ago. I convinced her for the sake of the app store.
so it got whatever the latest ios that the 1G can take (3. something)
now her itunes changes songs on her all the time, just switches mid song. im trying to ask her when it happens or when it doesn't, she just says it happens all the time, even in her pocket unless shes holding it. (ill try to clarify that, right now im getting angry text messages about my bright idea to update her ipod, lol)
