Ipod Touch 1G Wont Turn On?

Hello anyone i need some help with my ipod touch 1G.

I got it at a flea store and it wont turn on at all.

i tired dfu didn work pluging it ind for 2 hours while holding the home and power for 5 min didn work.

itunes wont work.

So i need help

It may just be dead. If letting it charge for a few hours and DFU mode won't revive it, it's very likely to be completely dead.

If I recall correctly, the first gen iPod touch stopped getting iOS updates after iOS 3.x. I'm not sure how enjoyable it would be to use...

It's very possible that it's just dead.

Check the water sensors. If activated it's probably dead. Also if it's off for long enough and the battery depletes to 0v then sometimes it's unable to hold a charge at all.

When you charge it does it stay cold, get warm or really hot?
