Howdy folks. Although I have been out of the iPod Touch arena for ages, I recently purchased a first generation iPod Touch as a gift for a friend who has more or less the sole intention of using the device in her vehicle through a USB aux. The Touch is performing extremely well for this task... however, sometimes the Touch feels laggy interface-wise. I believe it is running the newest OS for it (3.1.3) and with me keeping in mind (and knowing before I purchased this device that it was a few years old), what would be the best way to speed it up (any particular settings to toggle on/off)? Will jailbreaking the device speed it up a bit?
