Everytime I plug my iPod touch 2nd Gen into a computer, the iPod screen flashes, then goes to the apple boot logo. Obviously I can't restore it.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

you could take it to an apple store and have it tested on a mac to see if it reads and works.

If you can't make it to an apple store, you could try uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, follow the guide http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923

I tried uninstalling itunes. it seems that it is not the problem. I've plugged it into my cousin's computer and did the same thing.
I don't think that I can take it to an apple store. My iPod is jailbroken.

Put it in DFU mode and restore. If DFU doesnt work, then its a hardware issue - not the jailbreak.

That is why I will never jailbreak. No matter what apps they have.

Please... I doubt the jailbreak is the reason for this. You are way more scared of jailbreak than you should be. It's harmless.

Maybe you should restore your iPod Touch 2G and then try to sync, if still have the same problem, it could be hardware.
