Hello!

I am in a process of buying an budget ipod touch. Browsing through local small ads i found out that i could pick one up which was upgraded to iOS 4.1 Now i am wondering if there is a possibility to jailbreak it? If there is no JB for 4.1 can i just downgrade it to 4.0 and JB it?

I appreciate your help!

I believe if you get a touch 2g with a serial number beginning with "MB," there are ways to jailbreak it on 4.1.

Hello!

Thank you for your answer!

What about downgrading to 3.x and JB it than? Do you think that in the near future there will be a JB available for MC ipods 4.1?

...i guess with the today released Greenposi0n there should not be any problems anymore? :)

Today? I heard it is to be released on Sunday. But it does sound like it will JB all devices on current firmware. Wait and see what happens!

sorry my mistake..i meant redsn0w (for the iPhone3G and iPod Touch 2G at FW 4.1 or 4.0)
