iPod touch Ipod touch 2G not turning on

Hi guys
This is sravan kumar from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India... yesterday i went to a local mobile shop to purchase an Ipod touch charger... before that my ipod touch worked perfectly.... There the store keeper tested that cable with my ipod touch whether that was working or not.... from that time my ipod is not turning on... what should i do guys... gimme some suggestion... I'm out of my mind... wat to do now...

I tried all that said by others in other threads...
Is my ipod dead....
When i put my charging cable to my pc.... its getting heating up at d bottom of the Ipod touch where d charging pin was inserted....

try plugging it in and holding the lock and home buttons for a while

This happend to me as well....

It ran out of battery so i went to charge it and the screen stayed blank

My ipod was jailbroken. But i didn't tell apple that and i got it repaired for £80. It turned out that they just got me a completely new one.

They said some thing happend with the battery it leaked in to the screen or something like that.
