iPod touch Ipod touch 2G question about on-the-go playlists..?

Is there a way to add the song your currently listening to, to an on-the-go playlist? I tried but the only way i can find to add songs is by searching through artists, not adding current song. Any help would be great

The fastest way I can think of it to click on recently played and add from there. There is no "Add current song" on the iPod. Neither can you go to now playing and do so.

Nope. The only thing that you can really do with the song "currently playing" is do "genius" it.

And you can add songs from more catagories than just Artists. Just select whatever function (ie. Albums, Songs, etc.).

And the Genius feature is really a hit-or-miss.
Maybe a developer will come up with something that lets you do that on Cydia.

Here's a work around you can try -

In iTunes make a smart playlist for only songs with a certain rating (eg 3 stars).
Then when your out and about and you want to add the song that is playing, just give it the rating you designated and it will be added to the smart playlist.

This is all provided you don't actually use ratings!

Hmm never thought of that i'll have to try it. Thanks for the idea.
