Hello,

Im new to this forum, I just got my ipod touch 2g today and found that theres these flex spots near bottom left and right corners (ie. the end with home button). Just wondering if my ipod touch is defected or are all of them like that?

Thanks!!

Many iPhones 3G have this issue including the two that I've had. I suppose that the new iPod touches are using the rubber "gasket" under the screen that prevents cracking and that I hear the iPhones have.

I've noticed the same thing exept mine was on the left corner next to the home button. When I first took it out of the box it was making clicking kind of noise whenever I touched anywhere on the lower left of the screen so I brought it back for an exchange but I felt the other 2nd gens on display in the Apple store and they all seemed to have it to a mild extent :( but the one I have now is working just fine it has it a little bit if you really press down in that bottom left corner but I can deal with it
