Ipod Touch 2g Stuck in Recovery Mode

Hello,
I have an Ipod Touch 2g and I have tried to jailbreak it with Greenpois0n. After putting it in DFU mode, it said "Jailbreak Failed."
I decided to not jailbreak and decide to restore in iTunes.

Now, iTunes recognizes the iPod in recovery mode, however the iPod does not have the recovery mode logo showing up. It just has a blank screen as if it were off.

I tried to restore. It goes successful but iTunes still recognizes the iPod in recovery mode and it still has a blank screen as if nothing happened.

Help please!
