iPod touch iPod Touch 2g - Totally Dead?

Ok guys I think I have tried EVERYTHING. I tried restoring it or resetting it by holding both the Power and Home button for 10 seconds then let go of the power button and nothing happened (this was while it wasn't plugged into my PC.) Then I plugged it in and tried the same thing and nothing happened. Then I unplugged it, opened itunes, tried the same thing and still no luck. I have tried DFU mode but nothing is working. Oh yeah, and when I plug it into the computer nothing happens, it is like I didn't even plug anything in.

And my iPod still won't do anything. What is wrong with it and does anyone know what to do?? Please help! Thanks in advance!

Try leaving it plugged in for 12-24 hours and try again.

Take it to an Apple Store.
