hi. i know this is an old and very common topic, but i have an ipod touch 2nd generation that will not power on. i have looked at the tutorials for dfu and recovery mode...nothing. i have seen that the battery can be changed. would it be possible to switch batteries for a fully charged one to try and bring the ipod into dfu mode?

thanks
