I have an iPod Touch 2nd Gen, I accidentally upgraded to iOS 4.x, now I just want to knock my head to wall, so is there anyway I can downgrade it to version 3.x? Jailbreak is acceptable if it is the only method. Also, I am using a Mac.

I tried the standard way, shut down my iPod Touch and start in DFU mode, than press alt + recover, select firmware file but it told me "not eligible for requested build", I tried from 2.x to 3.x firmwares.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks I tried that but it told me something not eligible for the requested build. Anyway, I am able to downgrade it from 4.1.2(latest, forgot the exact number) to 4.0
