iPod touch Ipod touch 2nd gen, wont load up...

Okay so bascially my ipod touch was being weird so i decided to reset the settings.It was doing it and then it just turned of. Since then when i try putting it on, all it does is load the apple sign and hen just turns of. I tried charging it and dont think its charging.Its not becing detacted by itunes either..Any advice thanks!

Take it to the apple store
