Hi, i am having a couple of issues with some ipods i picked up on ebay. There are 3 of them, and they all have problems with there sleep/wake button and volume buttons. As in the up volume is acting like the sleep/wake and the sleep/wake is acting like it should sometimes but sometimes displays the volume bar too. Now, 1 has a torn wifi cable up by the grounding screw right under the sleep/wake button, but also has burn marks at the wifi cable attachment area by the headphone jack, about the 6 and 7th pin, and will ark if touched with screwdriver and burn me if i push on that spot, like its shorting, and since its torn i cant test the wifi because the touch screen doesnt work. 1 has no torn wifi cable but has the same burn marks as the other with the same problems with volume and sleep/wake but the wifi is working fine and so is the touch screen. The last one has no burn marks or tears but is experiencing the same problems with the sleep/wake and volume buttons but wifi and touch screen are fine. I have tried restoring these to factory and it changes nothing, any thoughts would appreciated, thanks in advance.

You got ripped off. That's why you shouldn't buy electronics on eBay. You don't know what you're getting.

well i bought them broken so i figured i was in for repairs, i was going to try to fix them and either resell or keep for myself. any ideas on how to fix this

You could attempt to bring them all to a local repair shop and have them clean up the mess the Ebay seller left for you. But that will most likely cost more then it is worth.
