I can't get this to work for crap.

I've followed the guide to install the AirPrint service for Windows (64 Bit) and I've made sure the printer is being shared on the network.

It still won't detect.

Help..please

You can't use it to print to shared printers anymore, Apple removed this feature from the 4.2 update at the last minute. At the present time the only printers you can print to using AirPrint are a select few HP models that support a special wireless printing protocol.

Not true...
I'm using a shared "Bother" printer following these instructions. The shared printer does have to be a USB printer.

Be sure that your firewall will allow it even if it does not actually ask for permission by opening the port UDP 5353.

Actually, my post is perfectly legit in the fact that Apple removed this feature from the shipping product, which is why the OP is unable to access printing via shared printers without applying any hacks to their system. When you apply things like hacks, which you linked to, it's a different story.

The "different story" is that it will work. With a very small modification, the OP can achieve what he or she wishes.
So, my post was also perfectly legit....
