I've been trying to sell my 64GB 3G on the local CL without much luck and the offers that I've gotten don't motivate to sell at all.

Not sure if this is because of not being able to install newer iOSs? In any case I'm all set for doing podcasts and audiobooks in my car... Would love to hear other creative ideas for what to do with my older touch.

Sadly the older iPod touches aren't going for much these days... I know, I've got a 32 GB 4th gen, and people (and trade ins) want like $30-$60 for it (and that's for a working one, mine has a broken lock button). It's not the most capable device nowadays but it definitely should be worth more than that. :/

How much were you asking for it? Everything works on it?

You can always still use it for iMessage, Twitter, email, and older games, though, as well as for podcasts or music.

Amazingly, no sooner did I post this on MR and the darned thing sold from the the CL post. For reference sake, it was in perfect working order and went for $75. Fellow wanted to use if for running and car and for music and podcasts.
