Ipod Touch 3g, iOS4.1, no jb-soft that works under Tiger?

Hello! I have a Ipod Touch 2nd gen, running 4.1 and i use it with my MacBook running Tiger 10.4.11 and Itunes 9.2.1 (5). It was actually jailbreaked long ago on 3.0 but i wanted to switch to 4.0 or 4.1 (as 4.2 is not available for Itunes 9 under Tiger).... so i restored my Ipod, installed 4.1 and then i really tried almost all apps available (redsn0w, blackra1n, PwnageTool, LimeRa1n, greenpoison) and i did this many times, different versions. None of them seem to work. Any suggestions or specific soft that helped you out (and where to download it)? Thanks!

so it is actually a ipod touch 2G

Anyway, i also tried to jailbreak my ipod on my windows pc but to no avail. I must have tried all of the possible softs.

I thought it woukd be wise to downgrade to 4.0 so i could use the jailbreakme app but...actually i have a big issue : i cannot downgrade from 4.1 to 4.0 as i don't have my SHSH (from previous versions)! So what now?

Solved!

Finally i was able to downgrade from 4.1 to 4.0 (which seems doable on the 2G even without having the SHSH). I could finally jailbreak the iPod touch (via jailbreakme.com). Issue solved!
