Hi, im new to this forum, and I want to ask about solutions to my issues..
I got ipod touch 3rd gen. from my sister in Korea,
and it had some issues with it..

First, the power button and home button(not as bad as the power button)
is hardly responsive.. At the time when i got it, I could barely make the power button to work by pressing somewhere in the left end of it.
but after 3,4 months, it's close to really impossible to get it to work..
I've asked one of the guys in apple store, and he said it would be fixed free
in the genius bar.. But im afraid it would be different depend on the warranty and stuff.. Would it be really free??

The next one is what I think quite unusual as I couldn't find any similar issues when I did some research on google..
the battery life is not accurate....
I tried using both the battery percentage on the notification bar and a third party battery life app, and the issue was not resolved. Here's what happened:

While I'm outside with no charger, I use it and the battery would occasionally decrease until it gets to 20~40%. After several minutes past, and I look at the ipod again, the battery had went up to 50~60%... I didn't charge it or anything, but it "charged" itself.. this battery up-and-down continues a number of times until it powers off eventually.

This ipod is my first mac product in my life, and I'm having some issues with it.
I need you guys answer...:(
