iPod touch 3g jailbreaking?

Hello there everyone I am new to the whole jailbreaking scene. As I have looked around so far it seems the 3g touches arent supported in a lot of jailbreaks. Mine is currently at 4.1 (Waiting for that to be jailbroken) after that happens I am not sure if mine will be supported. Is there a reason for this? Will I be able to jailbreak it?

I did come across that after I had made this thread. Unfortunately it is not up to 4.1 yet

Don't worry guys... The new jailbreak limera1n will be able to jailbreak all devices on 4.1.
