So I was given an ipod touch 3g 32gb by someone who dropped theres, and said if I wanted to fix it its mine. As you can see in the picture below, the screen is pretty cracked, and what I assume to be the midframe, also has a small hole in it. I found this set on ebay, would this be a good replacement? Thanks,
Schuyler

Yep that would be fine, might be worth checking if the seller includes the plastic opening tools though some do some don't.

It does include it. Do I need to worry about the quality of this product though?

I think it'll be better than what you have. :p

But based on reading it, it looks ok. But I really have no use with one so I'm not sure.

No I have bought several off ebay and never had any problems. Just take your time and work slowly when removing the broken front and when snapping the new part into place. Apply too much pressure in the wrong place and you could end up cracking the LCD panel.
