how strange....and it looks like there is a little cut-out for something at the top left corner on the front of the iPod too. wow....must be a glimpse into the future!!! :cool:

To make it partially relevant, not many people even know that the iPod touch exists. I get commented on all the time about my "iPhone."
 
Its on the current model. It detects the brightness of the room.

actually, if you look at the screen of the new 2G in the sun, that sensor is located towards the middle of the screen off to the right a bit.

so this case isn't for the 2G.
