Hello,

my iPod touch 3g rly seem broken, since 5 days it wouldn't boot at all and I've tried a lot of things, in iTunes, when I connect it, it say it's in recovery mode and I need to restore it, but when I try, it says "software for this iphone is not currently available, etc."

so I finally got a way to boot it up by using redsn0w and jailbreaking it.

if I lock it or let it lock by itself, 1 min after or even less, there is no way to boot it or awake it, I need to reconnect it and boot tethered again.

Also, there is no way for me to restore it using itunes since it can't start up by itself.

I tried all dfu/recovery mode etc.

So unless I let it right open, no lock or anything, it won't respond to anything and enter in DFU automaticly, by itself.

Before this problem started, my iPod wasn't even jailbreaked, well, I'm kind of hopeless now, letting always my ipod on with the screen and brightness doesn't fit my need at all, and the battery lose its charge fast.

Do you guys have ever heard of this before? and do you have any ideas what might be the problem?

thanks
