Hi,

I have an 64Gig iPod Touch 3rd Gen. It's been working perfectly. I upgraded to iOS5 a couple days ago and it's been working (and charging). I accidentally let the battery drain today until it shut itself off.

Now it won't charge. I plug the usb cable in and nothing happens. I tried with with an AC adapter and two computers. Nothing. The computer just says "USB Device Not Recognized".

I think it's something with iOS5 because I've been noticing a lot of little things that seem to be not working right since the upgrade. Like little glitches in the system.

My opinion there are bugs in iOS5... possibly on older devices I don't know.

Same thing is now happening with my iPod touch 4g. I used to plug it into my PC to charge it all the time. Upgraded to iOS 5 and now the PC won't recognize it. Have to resort to wall charger. :(

Try a hard reboot: power+home buttons until the :apple: logo appears

If not DFU and restore as NEW...
