hi
i want to buy ipod touch 4g , and it`s so ipmortant for me that it can play 720p hd files on it , can i play 720p hd mkv vdieos with birate like 4000 or 8000 with apps like AVPlayer or BUZZ Player ?

No, it will not play the files you're thinking of. They use the High@L4.1 profile, which is not supported by iOS devices, the only way around that is re-encoding the content. Not to mention that the audio streams - Dolby Digital and DTS - they contain will not be playable. It will play 720p x264, but with the High@L3.1 or lower profile. Also I believe the max bitrate maxes out at lower than 8mbit.

thank for answering ,
but i saw in BUZZ Player details that it can play 1080 hd files , so i think if the video doesn`t have dts sound and have bitrate about 8mbit , ipod touch will play it easily ?
