My iPod touch 4G just plain won't turn on. I've tried charging it, putting it in DFU mode, holding down both buttons...it's safe to say it was bricked. It was NEVER jailbroken, it just won't turn on.

What can I do and will Apple replace it since it has 1 year of warranty left?

keep on trying to put it in dfu mode eventually it will happen because this took me about 20-30 tries. Also run the battery down to 0% then reconnect to the computer and then restore if it shows up.If this does not work either then get it checked at an apple store and see what they say.btw your warranty is still there so yeah it will work.
