Hi, I'm encountering a problem with my iPod Touch. It froze when I resprang it and stayed in the apple logo, I have tried doing everything and it is still not working showing me the same message everytime.

I first tried Recovery mode, but it still didn't restore.

Then I tried going on DFU mode using the option key + restore and choosing the appropriate ipsw build for iPod Touch 4G 4.2.1 which is, I read in a website, was 8C148. Still no luck.

After this I installed the latest iTunes -- 10.5.2 -- and tried to restore in DFU mode, still no luck.

I tried changing the text in the hosts doc, manually, and by using TinyUmbrella. Yep, still no luck.....

Perhaps it has something to do with me not having SHSH blobs for 4.2.1?

I have also tried restoring with 4.3.5 -- correct build for iPod Touch 4G iTunes downloaded it for me -- but I still have the error.

Anyone know what the culprit might be? I'm doing all this with a macbook ver. 10.6.5

Any help is greatly appreciated as I have been googling and trying to fix it for 3 days and posting on a forum is considered my last resort. :)

One more thing, my iPod was previously jailbroken with greenp0ison RC6 on 4.2.1, if it matters.
