I recently bought a 64GB iPod Touch 4G. I seem to have short battery life and last night the battery icon on my iPod Touch went red as it drained to 10% within just 4 hours of use. Anyway I connected my iPod Touch 4G to my Mac to charge the battery and when I did that the large battery icon that appears when connected to iTunes and charging told me that there was 75% full battery charge still in the battery:confused:

I am confused that I am getting two readings.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

I've never heard of this one. All I can say is to take it to the genesis bar.

I would recommend restoring your iPod before going to the genius bar

What apps were you using? Some are more of a drain than others. Do you have any unknowingly open apps in double-tasking?

Is it Jailbroken?

What apps do you have running in the background? Skype is a CPU hog.

Yeah it's jailbroken iOS4.1 with Greenpo1son:eek:. I don't have skype installed. I notice using the camera drains the battery alot.

Unfortunately, the nearest Genuis bar is over 100 miles away from me:(
