I'm running IOS 4.3.2, and cannot upgrade to 5.0 because one of my needed apps does not work on 5.0 (it stopped when my wife upgraded). I have a 32 GB Touch, my available space went below 1 GB, so I deleted 250 songs, 20 videios, 200 photos, and over 30 apps, and my available space is still below 1 GB (613MB). Any ideas on what I can do?

What App is it?

You probably need to do a backup and restore. It sounds like you've got a bunch of dead space left there from something.

One other idea is to see if there is some kind of 'clean up' process you can go thru.

if I do a backup and restore, will I lose my data ans app settings? the app that stops working is Wifitracker, allows me to find wifi locations (apple stops these types of app near the begging, and I was lucky to keep this one).

as long as you have the app in your itunes on your computer, you can reinstall it later. I have vlc player (and several others that were removed) and still update and install them, even when cleaning out my iphones and ipods and ipad and updating them and such. just make sure you don't delete from your computer as it may not let you redownload it. wish i had that app too!
