I own a 4th gen iPod Touch running iOS 6.1.6. I had my iPod lying dead for a day or two completely before putting it one charge again, and I must say the performance is great! Safari performance has rocketed, and multitasking is much better (before, if I had the App Store open, it would eat up all of the RAM and every other program would have to be refreshed, where as now I had the App Store open, as well as Safari open with one tab and an App Open, and all were jumping back and forth with no problems). Typing is also a lot more responsive, with 0 lag. In some ways, it actually feels like I am running an iPhone 5 with iOS 6 with the likes of web browsing being so buttery smooth.
