iPod touch iPod Touch 5 Camera Lens?

I'm considering iPod Touch 5 to use mainly as a cam, without case, to carry just in jeans pocket (keys not in same pocket of course). How scratch resistant can I expect the lens to be from your experiences? Thanks!

It is supposed to be more durable but I would still take some care.

Hard to say. The iPhone 5 and iPod touch use a new sapphire crystal lens that's supposed to be far more durable than previous models, but they haven't been out long enough to figure out just how durable they are.

Thanks so far, that sounds good enough. The sapphire lens on the touch has only been mentioned at the keynote which I found after your comments, I didn't find any reference on apple.com before - small detail I know, I'll give it a try then trying to find one
