iPod touch iPod Touch 5G no power, not charging *Need help FAST!!!*

Hey all,
I have a friend with a 5th gen iTouch that will not power on. Here is what I have tried.

• Different cable
• Different charger
• Different charger and cable
• Leaving it on the charger overnight
• Charging on USB port on 2 laptops and a desktop
• Home+power button combo

I know for a fact that it is NOT drawing power. I tested this by plugging it into a fully charged power bank and when I pluged the cable into the iPod it (power bank) didn't light up like it does with my phone and headphones. He leaves tomorrow so some quick help would be greatly appreciated!
