iPod touch ipod touch 5g other section?

Im not sure if this answers your question but if you are referring to how much actually memory you get I think mine showed 28.2 or 29.2 gigs available even though its a 32gb model.
 
When you open itunes and under capacity it tells you how much your files are taking up space for some reason on my new ipod touch its at 1.07 GB is it normal?
