iPod touch Ipod touch 5th back cover replacement

I have a problem with replcement.

Generally a new back cover in ebay etc has no post for loop.

How can I pull out a pop out "nub or post" in the lower left hand corner to attach the provided "iPod touch loop" from an old back cover.

Please tell me how.

It's a button that when you press it unlock out and locks back in. If it does not want to come out, get a replacement.
